well worth a look. unlike the wind that shakes the barley which seemed to ramble on for ages till it landed on an improbable account of the labour movement in cork, hunger never overstayed its welcome. because you never leave the prison there is no release from Sands situation. apparently steve mcqueen used to be a photographer and this was evident throughout. some of the shots were masterful....
